On August 12, 2017, there was a riot on Market Street in Charlottesville, Virginia. Multiple law enforcement agencies stood by and watched criminal acts in progress and did nothing. Despite an overwhelming amount of evidence, no arrests have been made to date.  An excerpt of the Independent Review No explanation has been given by law enforcement for their failure to do their jobs. Many laws exist which directly apply to the events of August 12, 2017, yet no action is being taken by law enforcement. A spokesperson for the Charlottesville Police Department confirmed last month that there are no ongoing criminal investigations related to the Unite The Right rally.
